BAM UK and Ireland named title sponsor of Kirkcaldy Parks Running Festival

Construction and engineering firm BAM UK and Ireland has been confirmed as title sponsor of the Kirkcaldy Parks Running Festival, returning across the town's parklands on 29 and 30 August 2026, in a partnership that connects the company's active regional project presence with a community sporting event now established as a fixture in Fife's events calendar.

Project Scotland reported that the 2026 programme includes a half marathon, relay race, 10K and 5K trail races as well as the K107 Kids Superhero Fun Run, with the festival held across Beveridge Park, Dunnikier Park and Ravenscraig Park and supported additionally by Fife Council through the Fife Strategic Events Fund.

BAM UK and Ireland is currently delivering regeneration works in Kirkcaldy, including at the Templehall Community Hub, making the sponsorship a natural extension of the firm's on-the-ground community commitment in the area.

Martin Cooper, project director at BAM UK and Ireland, said the company is pleased to support the Kirkcaldy Parks Running Festival, which brings people together and promotes health and wellbeing, adding that with its teams working in Kirkcaldy and across Fife, it is important to the firm that it contributes positively to the communities where it delivers.

Entries for the 2026 festival are now open, with organisers encouraging early registration ahead of the August event.
