Belfast City Airport launches first spirit showcase with local distillers

Belfast City Airport will host its inaugural That’s The Spirit week from 23 to 30 August 2025, spotlighting Northern Ireland’s growing distilling sector through tastings and activations in World Duty Free and the Aspire Lounge. Participating brands include Jawbox Gin, Titanic Distillers, Basalt, and others, giving travellers multiple touchpoints — from quick samples to full serves in airport restaurants.

Jawbox Gin is using the event to debut a travel-retail exclusive 47% ABV Export Strength bottle for World Duty Free, part of its broader push to build global visibility. The activation aligns with the airport’s strategy to champion local producers and leverage travel retail as a platform for export growth.
