Dual and Hiscox team up to expand high-net-worth insurance in Ireland

DUAL Underwriting Ireland DAC has announced a strategic partnership with Hiscox Ireland to become one of the largest providers of high-net-worth (HNW) insurance products in the Irish market. The collaboration merges DUAL’s specialist underwriting and broker relationships with Hiscox’s technical expertise and established reputation in HNW coverage.

Under the arrangement, DUAL will manage day-to-day underwriting, servicing, and broker engagement, while Hiscox provides capacity and oversight. The joint approach is designed to streamline decision-making for brokers and clients, offering tailored insurance solutions for high-value homes, luxury yachts, private aircraft, fine art, jewellery, collectibles, and family liability protections.

By combining scale and expertise, the DUAL–Hiscox partnership strengthens their position against competitors such as AIG, Aviva, and Allianz, while signalling continued appetite for insurer–MGA collaborations in Ireland, where broker-led distribution dominates.
