Manverton takes front-of-shirt sponsorship of Hockey Ireland U21 Men's team for 2026

Manverton has been named main front-of-shirt sponsor of the Hockey Ireland U21 Men's team for 2026, as announced by Hockey Ireland, with the partnership timed to support the squad's preparations for the EuroHockey Championship II competition in Poland this July.

The expanded deal marks a step up from Manverton's previous involvement with the U21 programme. The company backed both the U21 Women's and U21 Men's teams during their respective World Cup campaigns in 2025, with the 2026 arrangement representing a dedicated focus on the U21 Men's squad.

Under the new terms, Manverton's branding will feature on the front of the team's match jerseys, on both side panels of the playing kit, and across off-field team equipment including player backpacks, giving the company a highly visible presence both on and off the pitch throughout the championship cycle.

Jim Coffey of Manverton said the partnership reflected the company's belief in the long-term potential of the squad. "We are delighted to continue to support the U21 Men in their exciting journey," he said. "Their top 10 finish in the recent 2025 World Cup in India lays the platform for future success. These are the senior players of the future, and we are keen to continue to support their growth and development."

The U21 Men's squad enters the EuroHockey Championship II in Poland having demonstrated competitive progress at international level, with their 2025 World Cup performance in India providing a credible foundation for further development ahead of the tournament.

The Manverton deal sits within a broader pattern of commercial investment in Hockey Ireland's age-grade international programme. Earlier in 2026, EY elevated its partnership with Hockey Ireland's senior international sides to front-of-shirt status, a deal that also built on prior secondary branding positions across the senior squads' kit. Hockey Ireland also secured a three-year underage sponsorship agreement with education platform Grinds360 in April 2026, covering multiple boys' and girls' age-grade national teams.

Taken together, these commercial developments point to growing sponsor appetite for association with Hockey Ireland's international pathway, spanning underage, U21 and senior level, as the sport builds towards the 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup in Belgium and the Netherlands.
