Irish hybrid fitness league TRYKA has confirmed Life Style Sports as its title partner ahead of the league’s national launch at Dublin’s RDS this October.

The multi-year agreement will see the sports retailer power TRYKA’s debut season, which begins on 11–12 October 2025 at the RDS Simmonscourt and will culminate with a season finale in the Algarve in 2026.

Founded by entrepreneur Brian Lee, best known as the founder of Freshly Chopped, TRYKA blends running intervals with functional fitness movements, offering formats for both seasoned competitors and newcomers. It’s shorter, beginner-friendly TRYKA 500 is designed to appeal to gym groups, corporate teams, and first-time entrants.

The deal also includes the launch of a dedicated TRYKA apparel range, which will be sold online, in select Life Style Sports stores, and at race events, creating an added lifestyle dimension to the new competition.

“Life Style understand the power of sport to bring people together at a local level, which is exactly what TRYKA is about – community, movement and inclusivity,” said Lee. “With them on board, TRYKA is set to ignite a nationwide fitness revolution. It gives us the platform to grow faster, reach more people, and put Ireland on the map in the emerging hybrid fitness space.”

“TRYKA represents everything we stand for – it’s fresh, ambitious and rooted in community,” said Mark Stafford, CEO of Life Style Sports. “We’re proud to support an Irish-led movement that’s bringing people together in a new and exciting way. Through this partnership, we want to help more people get active, stay motivated, and experience the power of sport, no matter their starting point.”

TRYKA will roll out a series of community workouts and race simulations in affiliate gyms nationwide ahead of October’s launch, helping participants get a taste of the challenge. All entrants and partner gyms will also receive a free 12-week TRYKA training plan, developed by the league’s coaching team.
