Zaggle becomes Ireland Men's Cricket Team sponsor for T20 World Cup 2026

Zaggle, an Indian fintech and spend management company, has been named official sponsor of Ireland Men's Cricket Team for the ICC Men's Twenty20 World Cup 2026, according to SportsMint Media.

The partnership marks a key milestone in Zaggle's international growth journey and represents its first major association with a global ICC event. The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 is being hosted across India and Sri Lanka.

Under the agreement, Zaggle branding will appear on Ireland's official playing kit throughout the tournament, along with visibility across training apparel and selected digital and broadcast assets linked to the team's World Cup campaign. The collaboration includes fan engagement initiatives aimed at building brand recall and strengthening Zaggle's connection with global cricket audiences.

Dr Raj P Narayanam, founder and executive chairman at Zaggle, said cricket unites people across borders much like technology connects enterprises across ecosystems. "This association reflects Zaggle's global ambitions and our belief in supporting teams that play with passion, focus and purpose on the world stage," he stated.

Ross McCollum, interim chief executive at Cricket Ireland, said the attractiveness of being associated with the Cricket Ireland brand at World Cup time would be well sought after. "With cricket being the second-largest sport in the world and with literally millions of people in India watching every match, I am not surprised that the attractiveness of being associated with the Cricket Ireland brand at World Cup time would be well sought after, particularly by a growing Indian company like Zaggle," he noted.

Ireland began their ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 campaign against co-host Sri Lanka, suffering a narrow 20-run defeat. The team faces matches against Australia, Oman and Zimbabwe as they look to progress to the next stage.
