This award recognises the rights holder in Ireland that has demonstrated exceptional performance, partnership development, and delivery of sponsorship value within the last 12 months. The rights holder may operate in areas such as sport, arts, media, events, education, or non-profit. Judges will be looking for an organisation that consistently delivers innovative, results-driven sponsorships, creates long-term value for partners, and fosters collaborative relationships underpinned by shared goals. Entry is by a 5 A4 page submission; the judges will be looking for clear information backed up by evidence, photos, and supporting materials, that pays particular attention to the criteria listed below.

  • Organisation Background: Please outline when the rights holder organisation was established, the sector(s) it operates in, the number of employees, and a summary of its current sponsorship portfolio, including key partnerships.
  • Sponsorship Offering: Describe the rights holder's approach to sponsorship, including assets available (e.g. media, venues, audiences, IP), partnership tiers, and any standout features that make the organisation attractive to sponsors.
  • Objectives: What are the organisation’s objectives when it comes to sponsorship? Examples may include community impact, financial support, audience growth, innovation, or brand alignment.
  • Execution: Provide examples of how the rights holder delivers on its sponsorship objectives. This may include partnership management, creative activations, co-branded campaigns, audience engagement strategies, and tailored sponsor servicing.
  • Innovation: Highlight any innovative practices the rights holder has introduced to enhance the sponsorship experience for partners. This may involve technology, sustainability integration, storytelling, or data-led insights.
  • Outcome & Results: Outline why the organisation stands out as a leading rights holder in Ireland. Include evidence of commercial growth, brand partnerships, stakeholder satisfaction, media coverage, and long-term sponsor retention.
  • Testimonials: Where possible, include testimonials from sponsors or partners that reflect on the effectiveness, professionalism, and value of their partnership with the rights holder.
