
LuLu Retail posts resilient growth with strong private label and e-commerce momentum
LuLu Retail delivered a 9.1% rise in net profit to $127 million in H1 2025, as revenues climbed to $4.1 billion. Like-for-like sales grew 3.8%, underpinned by strong private label and e-commerce gains.
Private label revenue increased 3.5% YoY, now accounting for nearly 30% of retail sales, while e-commerce surged 43.4% YoY to $108 million. Gross profit rose 6.5% to $468 million and EBITDA advanced 7.6% to $204 million.
The retailer declared an interim dividend of $98.4 million, in line with its IPO policy, and expanded its footprint with 11 new stores to date, keeping its target of 20 new openings this year on track. Its Happiness loyalty programme also hit 7.3 million members, adding 1 million in the latest quarter.
In the UAE, its largest market, Q2 revenues jumped 9.4%, supported by fresh food demand and omni-channel strength. LuLu said it will continue to accelerate network expansion while driving growth through private label and digital channels.
